De WiFi-functie is nog inactief en wordt pas via een software-update geactiveerd. Dit betekent dat voorlopig alleen LAN-gebruik mogelijk is.
Met de GoodWe-communicatiedongle kan de eigen PV- of hybride omvormer van de fabrikant via WLAN of LAN met de router worden verbonden. Deze brengt gegevens over naar het SEMS-portaal en zorgt voor software-updates. Voor de inbedrijfstelling kan ook de combinatiedongle worden gebruikt.
